This is exactly what I did when I built my first digital marketing company. We focused on building a large list of people who were interested in our services. Through that list we were able to nurture relationships to help other businesses around the world. By helping those businesses succeed, we did as well. All from building a list of emails. Action Step
The first step I took when building my agency’s email list was to create a landing page to send traffic to. This traffic came from the daily social media content I created on multiple platforms. At the end of each piece of content, my call to action was to go to a page and enter your email for more information.
This should be your first step as well. You should determine what item of value you could give away for free in exchange for someone’s email. For me, it was a FREE PDF guide that helped my audience to better understand how to scale their business through paid ad traffic.
Take some time and consider what you could give away. Create that asset and the landing page so you can then focus on sending traffic there to build your list. Over time you will grow your list so you can nurture those relationships to grow your business.
